Being “green” is our job, not a trend we follow.
Climate change is a stark reality facing the world today and we’re proud to do our part to combat the crisis.
Organic materials such as wastepaper decompose in landfills and release carbon dioxide and methane gasses. These are two of the main greenhouse gases (GHG) that are contributing to climate change. Each ton of recycled wastepaper avoids 2.94 metric tons of equivalent carbon dioxide per EPA’s Waste Reduction Model.
We’re also excited to switch to a “carbon free” electric supply starting in May 2021 which will result in a 2,900 ton reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.
